After creating my finished music magazine front cover, i created a questionnaire to get some feedback on it so i could make some improvements. I asked questions which varied from, ‘what type of genre do you think this magazine is?’ to ‘is the font easy to read?’ This was so i could make sure that people were understanding what kind of music magazine i had created, but also to make sure that my magazine was easy to read and that it was clear.
I read through the questionnaire that had been filled out, and noticed that most of them had the same criticism. That the magazine seemed to be aimed at women more than men because, the font of the title/masthead on the front cover was ‘pretty’ and ’swirly’, and also because all the images on the front cover were of women. I could understand this point and if i had had more time then i would have added an image of a man who could be posing as a brand new artist to have come out of the music industry.
